I love Fashion Week and I LOVE street style photos. 

But let's be honest, there is some fashion that really just should not see the light of day let alone be photographed for the whole world to make fun of admire. 

I try to keep this blog full of positivity and pretty pictures, but sometimes a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do ;)

Here's a look at some of the street style that I think was a complete disaster!

I know, I know...everyone worships Jenna Lyons and her work at J.Crew is amazing.

And maybe this is just a bad shot of her, but.....

Did anyone else mistake her for a man at first sight?!

The only times I have seen and actually liked this kind of fringe is in pictures -- of Cher 

and of my 70s inspired high school dance.  There's a reason why that decade is dead and gone.

Is that Nicole Kidman? Surely not. I'm sorry but this is just plain scary.

Let's save those pants for the street performers!

Ok seriously, what. is. this. 

Is she wearing a wet suit?

And this last one I included because I think she is just way too thin. The outfit I'm not that opposed to, but when these kind of images, depicting women who look -- in my opinion -- sick, are promoted as fashionable....well, that's not a message I want to support. At all. And I do acknowledge that some women are naturally thin, but I believe the fashion industry has a responsibility to be extra sensitive to this issue.

{street style} Paris, France

There's no denying the French are a glamorous group, it was clearly evident as we strolled the streets of the city.  And they're trendy too!  I saw some of the seasons hottest trends all over.  I must admit, I felt a bit like the stalkarazzi taking these photos, but it was fun!  Here are some of my favorite looks straight from the streets of Paris:

Happy Monday dolls!  How was your weekend?  I'm most likely en route back from Paris as you read this, but I just wanted to say a quick hello & share this fun little bit with you all.  As I was researching style in Paris last week to prepare for my trip, I came across this stunning couple: Garance Dore + Scott Schuman!  OMG!  I'm probably the last person on the face of this earth to find out that they are together.  Did you all know?? This has to be one of the most stylish couples ever.  WOW!  That's a whole lot of gorgeous talent.  Bless them!  I love Garance Dore's illustrations and her aesthetic is impeccable.  And, The Sartorialist...well, that's just street style genius that doesn't really need an explanation. I'm loving that they are such the power couple!

{street style} rome, italy

Oh, Roma...the capital city of Italy & home to beautiful buildings, rich history, luscious cappuccinos and stunningly gorgeous people.  Italians are always dressed impeccably well whether taking a stroll, grabbing a gelato or dropping their kids off at school.  They are always stylish.  Last Winter,  I went with my girlfriends and my mom for a whirlwind long weekend in Rome.   What a dreamy city!  (One of the many perks to living on this side of the world is the quick & easy access to Europe!) 

As I was looking through old photos this weekend, I found a few paparazzi-style pictures I had taken during the trip.  At the time I didn't have this blog, but I wanted to chronicle the style of the Romans in hopes of one day sharing it.
