Inspired Style // Snow Chic

I love the snow! ...as long as I'm snuggled inside by the fire :) I did survive 6 Chicago winters but honestly I gave up cold-weather badge when I moved to the sunny shores of the Mediterranean. The weather here in the South lately has been unseasonably warm, but that hasn't kept me of dreaming of a Friday's Fancies outfit ready for snow-covered mountains! Dressing for winter is my favorite, the warm layers and rich textures, cozy sweaters and Sorel boots. (I still don't own a pair, totally on my list!)

If you celebrated Christmas yesterday, I hope that it was wonderful and filled with family and love.

It's my final week here in the Middle East. It's really hard to believe that two and a half {incredible} years have come to an end and I'm moving on to the next chapter of my life.  Certainly one of the best parts of living on the shores of the Mediterranean has been the beautifully temperate weather.  But, I miss the snow!  The holiday season just isn't the same without it!  It's been 3 years since I've woken up to streets lined with fluffy white snow.  And as I prepare to leave the gorgeous palm trees and sandy beaches, I can't wait to land back in the US in the middle of winter!  

Don't worry, I won't ride a bike through the snow with a party dress on.
