Because it's November and because I miss my family, all I seem to think about lately is Thanksgiving.  It's one of my favorite holidays as it always meant one thing: a weekend with my favorite people.  (And, food and football...obviously.)  Although I won't be back in the US in time for Thanksgiving, we Americans on this side of the world are having a little celebration in honor of this wonderful holiday.  So today's wear that room features a bit of dreaming.  If I had an Upper East Side apartment with that dining room, I would transform it into this outfit for Thanksgiving dinner.

Fall 2011 Trends I'll Actually Be Wearing

I've said it before, I love FALL!  The colors, the textures, the food, the warmth.  It's my favorite season for clothes too and by far the easiest for me to coordinate.  And while I love runway glamour as much as the next girl, I can't exactly wear those clothes to the office.  So for this week's Fashion/Beauty Friend Friday challenge, I'm showcasing the Fall trends I actually intend to wear since most of these items are already in my closet.   

I just simply cannot get enough of sequins lately!  Definitely a must-have for daytime/work wear.  Ok, maybe not a fully sequined dress but a little sequined tank under a blazer...yes, please!  And, some pieces like lace shirts, leopard wedges, and patterned pencil skirts transition easily from one season to the next.
