This past week has been all about gold spray paint and a laptop bag for me. Just like the last four favorites, I am still on the search a proper work/laptop bag. Why is it so hard? Do y'all have one you like? At the moment, my favorite is this Sunday bag with a monogram. I'm still rounding up some more and will share soon. I am also on a DIY rampage. Literally I am painting every. single. thing. GOLD. This gold spray paint has become my favorite. So far I have spray painted an elephant, a plastic tray, an antique chair and settee and a frame. Love it. 

A few weeks back, I bought a King size Kate Spade sheet set from TJ Maxx for $50. I ultimately returned it because I wasn't sure that it would properly fit my Queen bed. Biggest regret ever. I should have kept them! So I've been on the hunt for more polka dotted Kate Spade goodness and I found these plates! Aren't they adorable? And finally, who can resist beautiful statement earrings? These Loren Hope goodies are perfect.

The past few weeks for me have been all about little luxuries (hello, grapefruit wipes that smell divine) and getting lots of work done (hence, the laptop tote) I've been doing lots of research on the perfect laptop tote because I'm on a mission. I'll report back next week in a post with what I find! Hope your week has been great so far, we're halfway there! x

Happy Wednesday friends!

Again, I cannot thank you enough for your kind words of love + encouragement about my feature in Sweet Lemon Magazine!

Today I'm linking up with my friends, Kristin + Ashlyn, to share four of my favorites this week. I focused on interior design because well, that's what my life has revolved around for the past few weeks. I'm starting a new entrepreneurial project that involves a large retail space. It's an old art gallery that is gorgeous, but also quite daunting to decorate! My design aesthetic is all-white with accents that include gold polka dots, cowhide rugs, bold pillows for pops of color and of course the Louis Ghost Chair. I just ordered two! My heart skips a beat every time I think about them.

four favorites // february twentieth

I'm so thrilled to be linking up with Ashlyn + Kristin to feature my four favorites of the week. The past few days have been cuh-razy! But it was really nice to have a space to put together my favorite pretty things and really celebrate the little joys in life.

one // I have been obsessed with coffee table books lately! I purchased two on major sale from Anthropologie, and this Paris street style book is next on my list. Does it get any better?

two // I've also been loving flowers and anything having to do with floral prints. But, not the cheesy floral prints, I prefer clean (and sparse) bunches of flowers. Check out my Twitter background for one of my favorite floral pictures. 

three // These Ulta nail polishes are my favorite!! Nail polish in general is one of my favorite things and I love sitting doing for a little DIY manicure at least once a week. The Ulta polishes are my new obsession because the quality is fantastic, the colors are near dups of Essie and they are only $6 (but frequently go on sale for $2!)

four // As I mentioned, life has been hectic lately. Nothing horrible, thankfully, just dealing with life as an adult and all the responsibilities that come with. So, I'm loving a pretty print of an inspirational message, just the little daily reminder I need. And also important to remember that some of the best (and most favorite) things are not really things at all!
